About Three Treasures Wellness Arts

Sally Stafford, B.Sc., B.A.

Medical Qigong Practitioner, Reflexologist, Champissage Practitioner, and

Certified Tai Chi Chuan & Qigong Instructor

My journey into holistic

wellness is built upon a foundation of scientific inquiry, administrative expertise, and a deep passion for mind-body practices. My academic path

began with Bachelor's degrees in both Psychology and Biology from

McMaster University, providing me with a valuable understanding of the

intricate connections between the mind and body. For fifteen years, I contributed to McMaster’s research community, serving as the Lab

Manager of the Visual Development Lab and subsequently the LIVELab at

the McMaster Institute for Music and the Mind. This experience honed my organizational skills, attention to detail, and appreciation for the scientific process.

Guided by a desire to explore more holistic approaches to well-being, I

delved into the profound wisdom of Eastern traditions. This led to my

certification as a Medical Qigong Practitioner, where I work with the body’s

vital energy to promote balance and healing. My exploration of gentle yet

powerful touch therapies expanded with training in Reflexology and

Champissage (Indian Head Massage), offering deeply relaxing and

restorative treatments.

My commitment to the Internal Arts inspired me to train extensively in Tai

Chi Chuan and Qigong for several years. I am a Certified Instructor of Tai Chi Chuan and Qigong through Ismet Himmet’s Wudang Principles, a 7-year journey that included two months of immersive training on the sacred Wudang Mountain in China—the birthplace of these ancient arts. This experience deepened my embodiment of their principles and prepared me to share their transformative benefits through both private and group instruction.

At Three Treasures Wellness Arts, I integrate this rich and varied

background to support your holistic health. I offer more than techniques—I offer presence. In each session, I hold stillness as a quiet invitation, creating a spaciousness in which your own inner wisdom can rise to the surface. This stillness is not passive—it is a deep listening field where healing unfolds naturally, without pressure or agenda. Whether through the energetic balancing of Medical Qigong, the precision of Reflexology, the nurturing touch of Champissage, or the mindful movement of Tai Chi Chuan and Qigong, my intention is to help you reconnect with the still, centred place within you.

I am honoured to walk alongside you on your path toward balance, vitality,

and the remembrance of your wholeness.

Liam Stafford, RMT

A deep appreciation for health and well-being led Liam to a fulfilling career as a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT). A graduate of the Ontario College of Health and Technology, Liam possesses a comprehensive understanding of anatomy, physiology, and a diverse range of treatment techniques. From targeted trigger point therapy and soothing myofascial release to the therapeutic application of hydrotherapy, Liam is skilled in addressing a variety of musculoskeletal concerns.

With a dedicated focus on injury rehabilitation and pain management,

Liam is committed to empowering his patients to rediscover their vitality

and move towards lasting wellness. Whether you are navigating the

challenges of an acute injury, managing persistent chronic pain, or

recovering after surgery, Liam offers knowledgeable and experienced

support to guide you on your healing journey.

Beyond the treatment room, Liam's personal practice of Tai Chi and Qigong

for the past several years deeply informs his approach to patient care.

Recognizing the profound connection between movement and healing, he

often incorporates gentle movement therapy and is delighted to share

simple yet effective Qigong exercises as part of your personalized remedial exercise program. As Liam aptly puts it, "Motion is lotion!"

Outside of his practice, Liam finds joy and rejuvenation in the tranquility of

nature, whether exploring hiking trails or gazing at the wonders of the night sky. This holistic appreciation for well-being resonates throughout his

therapeutic approach, offering you a grounded and supportive experience on your path to recovery.
