Medical Qigong is one of the oldest branches of Chinese Medicine, focused on balancing and cultivating life force energy, or Qi (pronounced Chee), to support healing of the body, mind, and spirit. This gentle yet powerful practice uses breathing techniques, meditation, movement, and hands-on energetic touch to restore the natural flow of energy within the body.
By working with the body’s meridian system and energetic fields, Medical Qigong promotes deep relaxation, clears energetic blockages, and supports emotional and physical well-being. It is often used as a complementary therapy to reduce stress, ease pain, and enhance overall vitality.
Before each session, we take a few minutes to check in and clarify intentions. After the treatment, we reconnect to debrief and discuss what you noticed, what was addressed during the session, and any supportive guidance moving forward.
During an in-person session, the client remains fully clothed and lies face up on a comfortable massage table. No oils are used. The practitioner works with a combination of gentle acupressure points, organ system regulation, and nervous system calming techniques, using light touch or working just off the body.
Sessions are individualized and may focus on supporting the body’s internal systems — including digestion, immunity, stress response, and emotional regulation — rather than treating isolated symptoms alone.
Clients may experience sensations such as warmth, tingling, or a sense of energy moving, or they may feel very little at all. All experiences are normal, and there is no “right” way to feel during a session.
Most clients report feeling deeply relaxed, grounded, or refreshed afterward. Because treatments can help unwind long-held physical and emotional patterns, it’s also common for emotions, insights, or vivid dreams to arise in the days following a session as the body continues to integrate the work.
Medical Qigong can be offered both in person and at a distance. Distance sessions work through the same natural principle many people have already experienced — like thinking about a friend you haven’t heard from in a long time, and then receiving a call from them shortly afterward. This happens because we are all connected through a shared energetic or “quantum” field, where information is not limited by physical distance.
In a remote session, we begin by connecting briefly by phone or Zoom to review your intention and ensure you feel comfortable and settled. You will then lie down in a quiet, comfortable space in your own home and simply rest. During the session, the practitioner works with an energetic duplicate that corresponds to your body and energy system, allowing the treatment to unfold with the same care and precision as an in-person session.
After the treatment, we reconnect by phone or Zoom to discuss what you experienced, what was addressed during the session, and any supportive practices or observations moving forward.
Remote Medical Qigong sessions are gentle, non-invasive, and effective especially those who live at a distance, have limited mobility or chronic fatigue, prefer the comfort of their own home or are sensitive to travel or clinical settings.
Medical Qigong can support a wide range of conditions by enhancing the body’s natural healing abilities and promoting energetic balance. It may help with:

Reflexology is a natural healing art based on the principle that specific points on the feet correspond to different organs, glands, and systems of the body. By applying gentle, targeted pressure to these reflex points, Reflexology helps activate the body’s natural healing processes, relieve
tension, and promote overall well-being.
