Medical Qigong

What is it?

Medical Qigong is one of the oldest branches of Chinese Medicine, focused on balancing and cultivating life force energy, or Qi (pronounced Chee), to support healing of the body, mind, and spirit. This gentle yet powerful practice uses breathing techniques, meditation, movement, and hands-on energetic touch to restore the natural flow of energy within the body.

By working with the body’s meridian system and energetic fields, Medical Qigong promotes deep relaxation, clears energetic blockages, and supports emotional and physical well-being. It is often used as a complementary therapy to reduce stress, ease pain, and enhance overall vitality.

What Happens During a Medical Qigong Treatment?

  • Client remains fully clothed.
  • Client  lies face up on a comfortable massage table.
  • No oils are used.
  • The practitioner gently touches energetic acupressure points or works just off the body.
  • Client may feel sensations like tingling, warmth, or energy movement— or nothing at all, and that’s perfectly normal.
  • Most clients feel relaxed or refreshed after a session.
  • Treatments may help release emotional tangles, so it’s common for dreams or emotions to surface in the days that follow.

Find Relief and Restore Balance with Medical Qigong

Medical Qigong can support a wide range of conditions by enhancing the body’s natural healing abilities and promoting energetic balance. It may help with:

  • Stress & Anxiety – Calms the nervous system and promotes emotional peace
  • Chronic Pain – Reduces tension and improves energy flow
  • Fatigue & Low Energy – Restores vitality and inner strength
  • Sleep Issues – Encourages deep, restorative rest
  • Digestive Imbalances – Supports organ function and gut health
  • Headaches & Migraines – Clears energetic blockages that contribute to tension
  • Immune Support – Strengthens the body’s natural defenses
  • Emotional Processing – Helps release stored emotional trauma
  • Trauma Recovery – Provides a gentle path to healing
  • Overall Well-Being – Promotes clarity, balance, and connection to your true self

Please note: Medical Qigong is a complementary practice and is not a replacement for professional medical care.
