Wudang Principles Tai Chi Chuan and Qigong, with its deep roots in Daoist philosophy and the sacred Wudang Mountains of China, offers a path to cultivating profound balance and harmony within yourself. These transformative arts, taught by instructors certified through Ismet Himmet's Wudang Principles, focus on nurturing your Qi (vital energy) through flowing movements, mindful breathwork, and inner stillness.
At Three Treasures Wellness Arts, we are pleased to offer both private and
group classes in the following Wudang Principles forms:
Hui Chun (Return to Spring) Qigong:
Hui Chun Qigong, or "Return to Spring" Qigong, is a rejuvenating daily practice, emphasizing the cultivation of vitality and inner harmony. This Qigong set is an accessible yet profound entry point into internal energy work. The practice comprises a series of exercises designed to lower stress levels, enhance mental clarity, and build foundational internal strength. Standing postures and movements such as "Yi Shou Dan Tian" (Mind Focuses on the Lower Dantian), "Wu Ji Zhuang" (Primordial Standing Posture), and "Qian Kun Ban Yun" (Heaven and Earth Circulation) are integral to the set, guiding practitioners to synchronize mind, breath, and movement. This holistic approach not only revitalizes the body's energy but also fosters a deep sense of balance and well-being.
Tai Chi 36 Form: A foundational Wudang Tai Chi sequence that cultivates
fluidity, balance, and internal strength.
The Wudang Tai Chi 36 Form, under the Wudang Principles (WDP) system, is a concise yet profound sequence rooted in the internal martial arts of Wudang Xuan Wu Pai. This form integrates essential
Tai Chi principles to harmonize internal energy (Qi) with external movement. Practitioners engage in deliberate, flowing motions that embody the Taoist philosophy of balancing Yin and Yang, promoting
both physical vitality and mental tranquility. The 36 Form serves as a foundational practice within the WDP curriculum, emphasizing the cultivation of internal strength, structural alignment, and meditative
awareness. Through consistent practice, students develop a deeper connection to their body's energy systems, enhancing overall well-being.
Bu Fa Gong (Tai Chi Walking Steps): Essential training for developing
grounding, stability, and proper movement mechanics in Tai Chi.
Bu Fa Gong is a foundational practice within the Wudang Principles (WDP) system. This method emphasizes the cultivation of internal energy (Qi) through deliberate, coordinated movements that align the body's structure and breath. Practitioners engage in controlled stepping patterns that promote balance, stability, and fluidity, essential qualities in Wudang martial arts. By integrating Bu Fa Gong into their training, students enhance their proprioception and develop a deeper connection between mind and body, laying the groundwork for more advanced practices in Tai Chi and other internal disciplines.
Private and group classes are available. Please contact us for availability
